Home & Lifestyle Expo Attracts Thousands

Last month our DirectBuy team ventured to Toronto to host the DirectBuy Home & Lifestyle Expo at the Toronto Congress Centre on October 24 and 25. This inaugural event was the first time members, as well their friends and family, have come together in one space to experience all the advantages DirectBuy
provides through its memberships.
The two-day event brought in more than 2,500 attendees, allowing DirectBuy to interact with members and share with their guests the life-enhancing benefits DirectBuy gratifyingly delivers. More than 60 of our most notable vendors – who allow us to provide high-quality products without hidden retail markup – were
scattered throughout the 2,900 square-foot facility. Each vendor gave attendees an exclusive look at their latest product offerings, as well as the luxury of making on-site purchases.
In addition, attendees took advantage of various complimentary discounts, as well as extended discounts after the event for cabinetry, window treatments, flooring and more that were offered throughout the weekend. Members and their guests purchased more than $1.3 million in merchandise during the
The DirectBuy Home & Lifestyle Expo also served as an educational portal for attendees. Various home improvement learning sessions were provided by many vendors and supported by seven DirectBuy clubs who help make our services prominent in the Greater Toronto area. Additional seminars were also presented
to educate members on countless new membership features now available like DirectBuy Travel.
To say the Life & Lifestyle Expo was a success is an understatement. A huge thank you to the Greater Toronto area clubs, owners, staff and the DirectBuy team involved with making our first Home & Lifestyle Expo an event to remember.
